In 2025 we achieved our Amber Flag as part of the Pieta House initiative.
The flag celebrates communities that create healthy, supportive, and inclusive environments by promoting mental well-being. Our Amber Flag Committee empowered children in our school to prioritise their mental health, to overcome challenges, and build resilience.
The children enjoyed a fantastic time during the first ever wellbeing week! They went to Kees for ice cream, completed obstacle courses, buddy reading, colouring competitions and yummy baking, learned how to jive and line dance, hosted some very special visitors and ended the week with a very fun Easter Egg hunt! :)
By achieving Pieta’s Amber Flag movement, we are now part of a community across Ireland, working together to break the stigma surrounding mental health.
