Play and Connect
We love Play and Connect!
It is a school-based wellbeing and physical activity programme designed to help pupils stay active, improve social skills, and build positive relationships with others.
3rd and 4th class have been leading this initiative in our school learning lots of new games and then teaching them to all of the other children in the school.
It encourages children to take part in structured and unstructured play, helping them develop teamwork, communication, and confidence in a fun and inclusive way. Activities often focus on cooperation, problem-solving, and movement-based games that support both physical and mental wellbeing.
The programme also promotes inclusion by ensuring all pupils can participate, regardless of ability.
